Barbara and Kelly will each present their perspectives and experiences with integrating body-oriented practices into group psychotherapy. In addition to discussing their theoretical perspectives, Barbara and Kelly will guide participants through the experience. Wear comfortable clothes for gentle yoga and movement.

Learning Objectives:

• Participants will learn ways mindfulness and movement can benefit the therapy process.
• Participants will be able to discuss the benefits of body integration and group therapy and the theory behind it.
• Participants will have the experience of mindfulness and movement in a group context.
• Participants will have an understanding of the ethics of appropriate touching and maintenance of professional boundaries.
